Kayla’s face tightened with clear frustration. “You been here with me for a little while now and there wasn’t no problem until today. Just get rid of that apartment and come live here. It makes sense, Eric. Logical.”

He shook his head. “Nah, we’re moving way too fast. I’ve only known you for like a week and a half. Plus… I came inside you so many times. I’m worried you could get pregnant even if you said your tubes are tied. I need to slow things down.”

Kayla’s eyes narrowed. “When I told you my tubes are tied, I wasn’t lying. I don’t even want kids right now it goes against everything I’m trying to do. I’m not trying to be tied down like that.”

Eric pressed. “What do you mean ‘everything you’re trying to do’?”

She ignored the question, waving it off. “I just don’t wanna be tied down right now, that’s all.”

Eric sighed. “Look, there’s more to this for me than just sex. I need to take a step back.”

That struck a nerve. Kayla’s pretty face twisted with real anger. “If it was just about sex, you would’ve been gone days ago. I wouldn’t have let you fuck me and cum in me that quick, over and over. And I damn sure wouldn’t have sucked your little ass dick every night.”

The words hit Eric like a slap. His face burned with embarrassment and hurt. He looked down, shoulders slumping.

Kayla exhaled sharply, then softened her tone just a little, though frustration still lingered. “Look… I just wanted somebody normal I can build with. Somebody that knows how to have a real conversation, has a good head on their shoulders, and is cute like you. I don’t want no drug dealer, no scammer, no insecure bum. That’s all.”

Eric stood there, still stinging from the “little ass dick” comment. “I… I just need some space. I’ll call you later.”

He grabbed his bags and walked out the front door as the Uber he’d called pulled up. Kayla stood in the doorway watching him, arms crossed under her chest, that thick body he’d become addicted to now framed by frustration instead of lust.

The car door shut behind him, and as they pulled away from the neat yellow 2-bedroom house, Eric leaned his head back against the seat, heart heavy. The whirlwind with Kayla had been intense, incredible, and maybe too much too soon.
