Amber Light & Her Midnight Throne
Chapter 4: Her Midnight Throne
He felt an electric surge pass through his body, and then another one as her fingers traced patterns along the line of his back. "Don’t try to hold back," she whispered against his neck. “You need this." The heat built in his chest until it was hard to breathe—not from exertion, but from the sheer intensity of her gaze. There wasn’t a question that lingered between them anymore; they both knew the truth of their situation. It had always been about more than just studying or sharing space with him.
He moved forward, his hands gripping her hips as she rose to meet him with an undeniable grace. Her body was warm against his, and he could feel the insistent pulse of his own need mirroring hers—a shared fire that had always simmered beneath the surface of their interactions. She didn’t hesitate for a second; leaning in, she captured his mouth with a kiss that was both tentative and possessive at the same time.
Her tongue touched his teeth as he groaned against her lips—a low rumble of desire that vibrated through his entire body. Her hands moved down to find purchase on his lower back, pulling him closer as she deepened the kiss. Their bodies fit together with an intimacy he’d only ever dreamt of outside their shared space; a raw connection that transcended words and unspoken rules.
He felt her fingers brush against the base of his spine, drawing out a breathless moan from his throat. She was completely in command—not just of him but also of the room itself. There wasn’t anything left between them but the unfiltered heat of their bodies pressed together, and he surrendered to it with a complete absence of restraint.
